Change drivers or passengers after signup closed

Each Gomates carpool trip has a signup deadline. We recommend setting this at least 24 hours before the trip, but you can choose a time which works best with your group. After the signup closes, only the Coordinator and Assistant Coordinators can edit who’s going.

To edit a driver or passenger after signup has closed

  1. Click car icon or user icon on the Trip page.
  2. Switch on Edit drivers and passengers. This switch is only available after the signup has closed.
  3. Click pencil icon for the driver or passenger you wish to change. You can remove them from the trip or change the number of seats in their car.
  4. Click Save to complete the change. We will send an email to the person you edited.

To add a new driver or passenger after signup has closed

  1. Click car icon or user icon on the Trip page.
  2. Switch on Edit drivers and passengers. This switch is only available after the signup has closed.
  3. Click add icon across from Drivers or Passengers.
  4. On the page that opens, select the member you wish to add. For a child passenger, first select the parent member, then select the child from a list of their children.
  5. Click Save to complete the change. We will send an email to the person you added.
