Pick up from different places

If your driver will pick up passengers from more than one place, here are a few things to keep in mind.

When creating the trip, you will enter the times of the first pick-up and the last pick-up. This tells passengers when to be ready.

Each driver must know where to pick up the others. You can ask group members to make their addresses available by changing their Privacy preferences. Then anyone in the group can click on a passenger name to see their address and any contact info they’ve chosen to show.

To make a trip with multiple pick-up locations

1. On your Home page, click Start Carpooling.
2. On the New Trip page, click Start location.
3. Switch off One location.
4. Name the Multiple locations for your pickups with a phrase that makes sense to your passengers, like “your home address.”
5. Complete the remaining trip information as usual.

To show your contact info

1. On your Home page, click to open Settings.
2. Select Privacy.
3. Select the group which will see your information.
4. Choose to show your email, phone, and/or address.
5. Make sure you have entered your phone and address in Settings.
